World Book Day

Wow what a great day had by all!  All staff and children had fun dressing up as characters today and would you believe it that the Gruffalo proven to be the favourite yet again!! Thank you to everyone involved it was a brilliant day. There are photographs in our “Extra Curriculum” gallery showing you the fun we all had!

Acorns House Of Stick Activity.

As part of National Book Week, Acorns have been looking at the story book “The Three Little Pigs”.  Whilst out on their Woodland Walk the Acorns Children collected sticks and twigs which they found on their travels.  The children then extended their activity by taking the twigs back inside.  The children were then split into groups to make a house out of the sticks

In March 2013 “The Meadows” after school club was launched. The club is run by Theresa Hammett and Lisa Marland and takes place every day after school from 3pm until 6pm.
